As Outreach and Program Coordinator, Cali has a deep commitment to listening, relationship-building, and community care. Bringing their love for listening to stories everywhere they go, Cali is passionate about building spaces where people feel seen and heard.
Before joining OUT MetroWest, Cali built experience across nonprofit, university, and research settings. They developed and facilitated suicide-and-discrimination prevention programming for LGBTQ+ families, educators, and community professionals. Cali also worked with trans and genderqueer communities to conduct research about interpersonal relationships and identity. They quickly found a passion for creating opportunities where people could connect, share their stories, and build a sense of belonging.
Originally from Miami, Cali moved to Boston to pursue a joint Master’s degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies. In their free time, you’ll find Cali starting yet another craft, talking with their chatty cat, and chasing the sun on warm days.
